Happy 25 years to us! Time flies when you are having fun!
To celebrate, we are going to northern Europe. Here is the gist of our trip:
- Norway including Svalbard (above the Arctic circle!!), and Iceland.
- Part of the UK before moving on to the Baltic cities.
- Germany for Oktoberfest!
- Belgium, Netherlands, northern France.
- The rest of the UK we didn’t see.
- Ireland.
It’s us (and we have learned the hard way), so we have some stuff planned, but we are mostly going to travel spontaneously. It’s our preference. As long as we hit certain places by certain dates for certain adventures, we are good. The map of our plan is chaotic AF, but it makes sense for where we are going and the timing we want to be in each place. Plus, it’s Europe, we get nearly everywhere by nice trains.
We are visiting three separate travel areas, each with their own 90-day travel limit: Europe, the UK, and Ireland. So, we could be gone for 270 days from June until March. We probably won’t be gone that long.
We are also steering quite clear of any and all places that are at war. Sorry, Ukraine.
