…for…
…racists, rapists, or republicans.
But I did vote! We both did.
We now vote from home. In Colorado, election books and ballots are mailed to us. Then, we can use one of the many drop-off boxes or mail them in. Ballots are tracked so you are notified by email when your vote arrived and also when it was processed/counted. Or you can look that information up on the voting website.
Every state should do it this way. Our Texass friends are talking about long lines and other bullshit in that hellscape. None of that is okay.
- Eligible residents of this country (of all colors, ages, and abilities) should be encouraged to vote.
- No one should be deterred by short hours, limited locations, long lines, state ID requirements (and isn’t that what a Voter ID card already is??)
But that wouldn’t be very republican of them, would it? After all, when people are encouraged to vote, states go blue. The only way republicans can win is to restrict access and cheat.
