The parade in Denver starts at 9:30am. That is way too early for us. Luckily, it just keeps going until after 12noon, so we got to see some of it. (And seriously, they must let anyone have a parade entry; that’s a LONG parade.)
It was a good party atmosphere at that time of day. People were happy drunks, not belligerent assholes.
We walked the long way to grab tacos, walked against-the-grain to see the last bits of the parade, and hit a few bars. There were a lot of great outfits, too. And I got to have green beer, always a fave.

I have always wanted to spend St Paddy’s in Chicago. The problem is predicting the weather. I don’t mind being dressed for the cold, but I don’t want to be absurdly miserable, either. Maybe we can figure that out for 2025.
Happy Everyone-is-Irish-weekend, y’all!
