We sold Pitter Patter, our 36.5ft rolling beast. She did us good during the pandemic, as well as adventuring around the country afterwards. We never took her East of the Mississippi, but she did make it through southwest Canada, including Vancouver Island.
Pitter Patter was ordered right before the pandemic started shutting everything down, early 2020. Once we had her, our restricted movements were freed quite a bit. Several RV campgrounds shifted to limited exposure during check-in and campers stayed in their spots, allowing us to see and do so much. Plus, this was a great way to get a jump on having/learning the motorhome since we just decided our retirement with an actual date. This was the perfect next step.
Pitter Patter had issues of course, but we overcame and even made modifications to better fit our needs. Replacing a love-seat-sleeper with trash/recycling and more storage was a great addition. The solar updates also improved our boondocking experiences greatly.
With our latest trend in travel, visiting other countries, selling Pitter Patter was a good step to allow others to enjoy what she has left to offer. We have so much more to see, outside the US, but our adventures on this continent were greatly enjoyed with our motorhome.
